How use 3M CR100 Document Reader with haj portal ehaj.haj.gov.sa

Do you surprised that 3M CR100 doest work with ehaj portal from a box?

3M CR100 MRZ passport reader 
Don't worry. 

1) Fist of all install driver.
http://www.3m.com/ssdcp/3M%20Swipe%20Readers/SDK/3M%20Swipe%20Reader%20SDK%201.2.1.2%20Setup.exe

2) Find in C:\Program Files (x86)\3M\3M Swipe Reader\1.2.1.2\Config
SwipeSampleScript.xml file
3) Open and replace all from this field



4) Save file.
5) open ketboardwedge.exe and select MRZ in dropdownlist. Thats all.

    Dear Sir,

    I have added this part of code you mentioned up inside the swipe script file, but start giving me error.
    any advice
    error is : an error occured during initilisation: FILE_LOAD_ERROR

    It's a file that you can generate with the CR Series Config Utility. I need that file for my device.

      I tried to download the files but I can't update my device. Appear the following error: "Error, Extract failed, perhaps a missing DLL 7za.dll".

      Good question. I'm not sure. Under the device, there are two stickers. The first is: "XS003890596 1 GH_0000_0196_4FF6", and the other is: "CR10-01-01-01-00-00 REV. B CN CN3".

      REV. B - this revision 3m is not provide software. Maybe you can use latest utility.

      Hi again, and sorry for the delay :(

      I tried with the CR Series Config Utility and when I press "Settings" button, appears an error: "Could not open Optic Settings".

      Please do not develop any functionality limit user access only to windows and IE.
      3M CR100 working as keyboard emulation and you can add only js function with onchange event to textarea tag, for example. And it will be working on any OS and browser.

      Keyboard Wedge utility emulate keyboard input.
      If you want to get text from textarea, you can use this https://stackoverflow.com/a/22179984

      Did you got mrz text from scanner to notepad.exe?

      Hi Sir, I am able to get scanned data on the form. I am working with this scenerio I have taken textarea on the form and keeping focus on textarea I am getting a values in a string after this I a split the string for getting each attribute value and setting the that value in the coressponding field. I have question relatedto this can I get the scanned values without keeping focus on the form or is there any other way we can relfect the output on the form just by keypress/keydown .

    Hello there,

    I have 3m cr100m

    I am having an issue with CR100 reader revision A, flashing blue light and the CR Series Config Utility can only see the Head number and the Firmware number, but not the Bootstrap or the Port. No other functions or utilities work. There is no visible internal damage or problem.

    its flashing 2 blue light error code.

    Can you please assist?

      Sorry. We have not use this type of reader now. :-(
      Try install reader on another computer. If problem is repeated - it should be hardware issue.
